Mighty Morning Show No More!

Dicky Barrett was fired. Probably the stupidest thing Indie could have done, as his show was the best one in LA in the mornings. Dicky's press release in the LA Voice via Metroblogging:LA

They still have Jonesy, but I don't know if I can support them any more. I really did think that this format could push other markets to do the same thing, but this makes it seem like it's business as usual in terrestrial radio-land.

New flickr stuff

OK so I finally bit the bullet and shelled out for a pro account at flickr. Im organizing my photos in groups now, and I have started putting up personal photos of friends and family.

Went out the other day and got some more pictures around the neighborhood, so check out my palms photoset on flickr.

An important decision...

Took the time tonight to work on some long exposure images I took a few weeks back. Uploaded a few of them on Flickr and tried to make a new photoset only to find that non paying members are limited to three. I was planning on becoming a "pro" user so I could store photos here while traveling, so I guess this just gives me a jump start...



Anyways for know the images aren't organized into a set. This is my favorite I think, although the glowing booze bottles are pretty cool as well.

Fun with cacti

I wanted to go shoot pictures of The Return, an awesome band that happens to consist of my brother and two of my best friends. They f-ing ROCK! Unfortunately they didn't make it out to LA today . . so I had some fun taking pictures of plants on my balcony instead.
